Mark Stahl, Field Supervisor
Originally from Indianapolis, Indiana – and a die-hard Colts fan – Mark Stahl attended Arsenal Technical High School and later followed his dad down from Indy to Florida. Mark joined Team Tempco in 2003 and became Tempco’s fifth team member. The company is now 25 team members proud.
Mark’s favorite thing to do in his position is work to further grow the business. He also enjoys training team members and keeping an eye on the latest trends in the pest control industry. “I love solving pest issues and passing along my knowledge and experience to fellow team members. The more we all know, the more we grow.”

The craziest issue Mark has ever had to deal with
The craziest issue Mark has ever had to deal with while at Tempco was a Formosan termite job on a yacht. It is very unlikely for termites to infest a boat but, somehow, they did. Mark stepped up the challenge, came up with a treatment plan, and went to work on the 72-foot yacht with Team Tempco treating each of the three levels. “The termites had eaten through the wood floors — all the way through to the rubber power steering lines. We determined that the point of entry was from a power cord running from the shore to the boat. It took about ten days to complete the job but we got it done and got it done right. Mission accomplished.”
His Best Advice for Customers
The best advice Mark can give customers is to be cautious and proactive. “I recommend that homeowners look for signs of termite frass and other bug droppings. Frass (termite poop) looks like sawdust and is gritty like sand. Other bug droppings, on the other hand, look more like coffee grounds. Don’t take a chance though, if you have any concerns, give us a call and leave it to the pros. The sooner a potential issue is reported, the better, because there will be less damage and the job will be less expensive.”
Something that many people might be surprised to know is that Mark is one of Tempco’s key parade participants and coordinators. From the Edison Festival of Lights Grand Parade to the Swamp Cabbage Parade, Mark can always be counted on to head up the efforts and proudly represent Team Tempco in his pest costume of choice…the rascally rodent!
When Mark Stahl Is Not Working
In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, especially his five grandchildren – two boys and three girls — ranging in age from eight months to eight years. He also likes to restore vehicles. Mark’s hobbies include boating and fishing. His favorite catch is Mahi.
What is most important in life to Mark is his amazing family – which also includes three fur babies…a long-haired dachshund, a chow, and a Florida black mouth curr. Mark’s overall philosophy is, ”Be genuine and kind and always strive to help your fellow teammates.” Mark’s philosophy has paid off for Team Tempco and our valued clients!
